North East Lecture Delights

For those of you in the North East of the UK, particularly the Durham area, there is a series of lectures over the next few months that may interest some of you.

Durham University Chemical Society organises a set of lectures each year aimed at promoting chemistry/general science. Although these are aimed at an undergraduate audience many of them will be of general interest to those with some science background.

Despite being organised in house these lectures are open to the public.

DUCS invites speakers from around the world to give interesting and informative talks on a wide range of chemical and chemical related topics. The lectures usually take place at 5:15pm in the Chemistry department. A drinks and buffet reception occasionally follows the lecture.
